라오스 북쪽에 위치한 팍산의 작은 마을에 있는 판므앙 초등학교의 도서관을 만들기 위해 지역 아이들과 함께 머리를 맞대었습니다. 측정을 기반으로 건축 모형을 만들어 아이들과 함께 도서관이 될 학교 안의 낡은 공간의 가능성을 고민했습니다. 팍산의 초등학교 학생들은 미술 수업을 해본적이 없다고 했지만, 조금만 시간이 지나자 진짜 건축가처럼 멋진 아이디어들을 냈습니다. 그 중 몇몇은 실제로 공간 디자인에 적용됐습니다.
Studio Glue worked with children of a small village in north Laos in September 2015, to come up with ideas for their new school library. Surveyed cardboard models resembling the actual building were used to encourage the children to imagine new possibilities for their space. Art class was never a regular school curriculum, but the children proved themselves as natural architects with many great ideas, a lot of which were finally put into practice later on.
